Sunrise Pairng Ceremony October 2008
It¡äs autumn, which means new school beginnings for our Shanghai Sunrise students and a new opportunity for sponsors and their Shanghai Sunrise students to meet at our bi-annual pairing ceremony. At the October 2008 ceremony we were happy to welcome over 200 students into the Shanghai Sunrise program and to arrange the meeting between Shanghai Sunrise students and sponsors for the very first time.
This meeting is always special. The students are given the chance to get to know the person giving them a chance at a better life. The sponsors are given a face to and an insight into the life of the person they want to help. The one-to-one sponsorship policy behind this meeting is at the core of the Shanghai Sunrise operations.
