Sunrise receives
National China Charity Federation Award

Shanghai Sunrise has received a national award for its long term dedication to helping underprivileged Shanghai students. The award, presented by the Shanghai Charity Foundation, was accepted by Sunrise Chairperson Julie Chu at the bi-annual Sunrise Pairing Ceremony held at the Hilton hotel on November 8th. Ms Chu would like to convey:

“It′s a great honour for Shanghai Sunrise to be chosen for this award among all the deserving organizations, struggling to help children and young adults in China. We would like to thank the China Charity Federation for their recognition of our work and the Shanghai Charity Foundation for their unwavering support throughout the 15 years of our existence.
A special thanks also goes out to all the volunteers that make up Shanghai Sunrise - without so many dedicated individuals our work couldn’t be achieved.”
